Siciliano Contemporary Ballet Workshop introduces you to Salvatore Siciliano’s peculiar style and work, which has gained popularity for his keen ability to mix ballet lines and aesthetic with raw emotion and sarcasm. Salvatore Siciliano’s movement language is dynamic and pushes dancers’ bodies beyond their limits. The movement is expansive, reaching the most extreme point of the body and executed with strength and intensity.

During this 3 days workshop the dancers will join a professional and intensive training, taking part in daily technique and repertoire classes with Salvatore Siciliano and dancers from the ensemble.
The workshop will be a full immersion experience into SCB work and concept, including the chance to be part of a new exclusive creation of Salvatore Siciliano.

The SCB Workshop is suitable for professional dancers and advanced dance students, ages 18+

Schedule:
10.30: doors open
11.00 – 12.30: Ballet with Chizu Kimura
12.45 – 13.45: Salvatore Siciliano’s technique
14.30 – 15.30: Salvatore Siciliano’s creation
15.45 – 17.45: Repertoire with SCB dancers

Selection is made by CV application.
