DIAVOLO: Architecture in Motion is seeking male and female dancers and movement artists to join our Los Angeles based company, VOLO, for paid rehearsals and performances.

We are looking for smart and creative performers with a versatile skill base and a willingness to enhance their own acrobatic and physical theatre abilities. We are seeking fearless, athletic performers who thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy pushing themselves physically and mentally. Performers with strong partnering skills that have technical dance training in modern, ballet, breakdance, hip hop, martial arts, gymnastics, acrobatics, circus arts, or tumbling please apply. Training will be provided for the right candidates.
To be part of creating a new show, “T.R.U.S.T.” exploring themes such as risk, teamwork and self-expression. Funded by the California Arts Council, this show will be performed in schools in Los Angeles County as part of DIAVOLO’s ongoing educational programming.
Must be available for all rehearsals and performances.

Time: School hours (early morning calls and done before 3 pm)
Location: Schools in and around the Los Angeles area
VOLO dancers have the opportunity to:
Take a class and perform alongside the DIAVOLO touring company
Participate in “The Veterans Project”, a program that uses DIAVOLO’s unique style of movement as a tool to help restore veterans’ physical, mental, and emotional strengths through workshops and public performances in communities all around the country.
Access to free use of our LA studio and performance venue “The Space at DIAVOLO”
