Three days of activity that will be a deep taste of the work of Berlin choreographer Sasha Waltz, thanks to the guidance of Michal Mualem, dancer/assistant/collaborator of the choreographer since 2001.
The first day of activity will be focused on the introduction of Sasha Waltz’s way of working, experiencing by improvisation sections the ideas and tasks Sasha works within a research phase with her dancers.
The second and third day the workshop will go through an introduction on the work of the choreographer, through improvisation sessions and study of the technique release and then focus on his repertoire. Nobody, Sacre, Orfeo, but also Impromptus, Continu will be the works taken into consideration during the workshop, to range between solos, duets and group choreographies: the solo work focuses on the details of the movement, the duet focuses on the listening and the dependence between two bodies, the group compositions invite the spatial orientation in relation to others.
